R.C.I.A.
Older children and adults will participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (or Children). After beginning to attend Mass regularly, the individual will participate in the classes which are held about once a week and begin in the fall. They will participate in the various rites of the church and then be baptized at the Easter Vigil Service, the Saturday before Easter. If the person has already been baptized by a valid Christian baptism in some other denomination, they will make a “Profession of Faith” in the Catholic Church.
